The Team Lead, IT Department role demands a highly proactive IT professional with strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multi-branch IT operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of PNY Trainings’ IT infrastructure, including ERP, LMS, networks, servers, and technical systems. The Team Lead will drive process automation, optimize system performance, and implement robust data protection and IT security measures, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and compliance across all branches. By providing strategic technology solutions, this role supports training operations, academic initiatives, and business growth across the organization.


Requirements:



  • Minimum 16 Years education.

  • Flexibility to address critical IT issues outside regular working hours, including nights, if required.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Minimum 4-5 years of progressive experience in IT support, infrastructure management, ERP/LMS administration, and IT operations, preferably in multi-branch organizations or the education/training sector.

  • Prior experience in managing networks, servers, Wi-Fi, IT security, coordinating IT operations across multiple locations, vendor management and IT procurement is highly desirable.

  • Must own personal conveyance with a valid driving license for commuting and official travel.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Lead, mentor, and manage the IT support and infrastructure team, ensuring high performance, professional development, and effective resource allocation.

  2. Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems, servers, networks, Wi-Fi devices, and databases; proactively monitor performance and implement improvements.

  3. Plan, implement, maintain, and optimize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ERP platforms to support training, academic, and business operations.

  4. Oversee ERP system administration, including user management, module coordination, system optimization, and process improvements.

  5. Identify system gaps, recommend IT solutions, implement automation initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency across all branches.

  6. Manage ERP/LMS upgrades, software patches, backups, and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.

  7. Maintain a secure and up-to-date record of all system accounts, login credentials, and passwords, ensuring strict confidentiality and high-level data protection.

  8. Immediately disable login credentials, email accounts, and system access of employees leaving the organization, even if it occurs outside regular working hours, including nights, to ensure security and compliance.

  9. Support integration between ERP, LMS, Employee self-service HR portal, and third-party systems to streamline workflows and maintain data consistency.

  10. Coordinate and conduct ERP & LMS training sessions for staff, end users, and management to maximize system utilization.

  11. Prepare technical documentation, reports, dashboards, and analytics for management review and decision-making.

  12. Establish, maintain, and regularly upkeep IT labs, server rooms, and technical infrastructure in all branches.

  13. Visit branches in Lahore and outside Lahore as needed to assess IT infrastructure, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with company standards.

  14. Go to market to procure IT hardware, software, or arrange repairs and maintenance as required.

  15. Serve as the primary liaison with vendors, management, and internal departments for ERP, LMS, IT infrastructure, and network-related matters.

  16. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Academics, Operations, and other departments to ensure IT solutions align with business needs and strategic objectives.

  17. Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, SOPs, best practices, and access controls to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.

  18. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve critical incidents, outages, or technical challenges with minimal disruption to business operations.

  19. Undertake any other IT-related projects or administrative tasks assigned by management to support organizational goals.
