The ICT Associate – Systems Support provides technical and operational support to ensure the effective functioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ICT systems, applications, and digital tools used by UNOPS programmes and operations. The role supports system users, assists with system updates and testing, contributes to data and information management, and ensures that ICT solutions are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for internal web-based tools and digital platforms.
- Assist in maintaining and updating websites and internal portals using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Support users with troubleshooting basic system, application, and access issues.
- Assist in testing, documenting, and improving ICT workflows and tools.
- Assist the ICT specialist in the development and maintenance of web interfaces and dashboards.
- Assist the ICT specialist in updating digital content and ensuring functionality, usability, and consistency.
- Support the integration of data outputs into web platforms.
- Assist the ICT specialist in data cleaning, validation, and basic analysis using Python and SQL.
- Assist in maintaining structured databases and ensuring data accuracy.
- Support the preparation of data-driven reports and visual outputs.
- Assist the ICT specialist in basic technical documentation, user guides, and system notes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather ICT requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of ICT tools and processes.
